With each degrading word slung over the boards, he strains to keep his focus on the ice. Now, everything he’s worked for is in jeopardy.

She’s facing off with the Game Makers.

For Anne to succeed, she has to capitalize on Nate’s struggles.

Wanting to be together, they know they must bend for each other before one of them breaks. If they can’t, it’s Game Over.

MY REVIEW

I love the Portland Storm series, and Game Breaker only adds to this great series. Annie is a sports reporter who is in the midst of creating a behind the scenes look at the Portland Storm hockey team, including Nate. He’s an amazing player, but the other fans have been slinging dirt at him for months and its finally starting to get out of control.

I’m gonna be honest, Annie wasn’t my favorite person, especially at the beginning when she was trying to prove herself and isn’t the best with sensitive information. This changes as I go on, and part of this is due to Nate. He does a great job of helping pull her in, and I had nothing but respect for him. There romance was steamy, and it really added to their story, but this was a story about the growth of Nate and Annie. This was a different type of book, because we got to see the guys from a different perspective and there were a couple of different storylines and twists that I really wasn’t expecting. I loved it, and look forward to the next book in the Storm series.
