MY REVIEW
I love when I start a new series and find new characters to
enjoy. Monday by EL Todd let us get to know Frankie and Hawke, who have
instant chemistry when they meet at Frankie’s workplace. Hawke and Frankie are
meant to be together, and the rest of the book is spent watching them try and
navigate these crazy chemistry while trying to wrestle with their own demons.
This book was a bit different, because the time period was
so short. Hawke was the one who was running scared for most of the book because
he was a typical scarred Alpha. Frankie has her dreams all mapped out, wanting
to open up her own bakery and she needs to figure out if she’s willing to
devote time to a new relationship. This book does end on a cliffhanger, but it
fits the story. You get a glimpse into Frankie and Hawke’s relationship, and I
can’t wait to read the rest of this saga.
