The Trouble with
Mistletoe by Jill Shavis is a fun read
and a great new Heartbreaker Bay novel. Keane is caught off guard when he is
suddenly responsible for his aunt’s Siamese cat. He goes to the only woman he
feels can help him, the local vet Willa. She’s your typical animal lover, and
remembers the guy she went to high school with.
This was a fun,
lighthearted read. I loved to read the banter between the two, and the way
Petunia responded to Willa. Both Keane and Willa struck a chord with me, and I
was thrilled to watch them move beyond everything they’d been through see if
they could be together. This was an easy read, and great for any pet lover. Can’t
wait to read more about Heartbreaker Bay!
