Mia Darling was at the end of her rope when she reaches out to Taima, or Tai, in desperation. Tai is an unapologetic hero, and he goes out his way to make sure Mia gets what she needs. My heart went out to Mia, who experienced something no parent should have to, my heart hurt for her when she shut everyone out.

These two started off on a high note, then seemed to unravel, before they came together again. Lani Lynn Vale is one of my favorite authors, and this new series is no different. It provides some of the older characters you have fallen in love with over the years with new ones to enjoy. There’s still the alpha male you’re used to that will do anything for his woman with enough action to make you want more. Mia and Tai were perfect for each other and I can’t wait for the next book!
