RATTLE ME BY RYAN MICHELE REVIEW!!

RATTLE ME

BY RYAN MICHELE

**Please note: This is a companion novella to Seduce Me (Ravage MC #2). It is best to read all of the books in order.
Ravage Me (Ravage MC#1)
Seduce Me (Ravage MC#2)
Consume Me (Ravage MC#3)
Satisfy Me (Ravage MC#3.5)
Rattle Me (Ravage MC#3.75)

GT and Casey's story does not end...

After a devastating loss, hope breathes again.

Test after test, the lives of G.T. and Casey are about to take a huge turn.
Emotions and pain cut deep, and fear burns inside daily.
Can Casey relax enough to avoid undo stress?
Can GT handle having zero control?

“This is definitely going to be one hell of a wild ride.”

MY REVIEW

Rattle Me was a perfect conclusion for GT and Casey. You first meet these two in Seduce Me, which I would highly recommend reading, because it really gives you insight as to where these two are coming from and it’s a really good book. GT and Casey find out they are pregnant, and these novella details the ups and downs they go through trying to make it to the delivery room.

GT has always been one to protect his woman, and this is no exception. The way he showers Casey with love and affection lets you know that he really loves her, and it was great to see this gruff, alpha male try and cope with his very pregnant female. Casey has gone through more than most people and come out with some serious issues, and this novella shows how she is able to work through it. You get to see some of the same people you have fell in love with from the Ravage MC, which is a great series you should definitely pick up if you haven’t, and see their bumpy road to happiness in a way that makes you cry, laugh, and wish the story didn’t end.

CLIPPED BY LOVE BLOG TOUR AND REVIEW!!

Clipped by Love by Toni Aleo
Contemporary Romance
Bellevue Bullies #2

Things are heating up for the Sinclair boys! With one already in the NHL, Jayden Sinclair is hoping to be next!

This has been the toughest year of my life. I watched my brother go into the draft without me, my mom got divorced, and the weight of my family’s issues is heavy on my shoulders. I feel like it’s my job to fix everything while working my butt off in school and trying to make my game better. I have to go into the draft. It will give my family the support they need, and it will prove that I’m good enough. But to get there, I have to show I can be the best captain for the Bellevue Bullies. The spot is mine—no one can take it. First though, Jude is making me go on a brother’s weekend. Innocent enough, I guess…until I see her. She’s the biggest competitor I’ve ever faced. Not only for my spot but also my heart. It’s hard to ignore someone like Baylor Moore.

***

I don’t lose. I can’t. My dad has bred me to be the best in anything I do. I am driven, I am smart, and I am going to be the first woman in the National Hockey League. No two ways about it. I’ve worked too hard. I’ve been through too much not to have what I want. I know I can do it. I will make my dad proud, and no one will stand in the way of that. That is, until I let him in. He scares me. He makes me feel. And he could very well be the one person who can make me want more than just to win.

We both have the same goal. Victory. But how do you compete against the person you want to win? It’s not easy. Love isn’t something you can control. It isn’t like a puck that can be handled by a stick. No, it has a mind of its own and does what it wants.

Neither of us saw it coming, and we really don’t know if there is a way to score, especially when you’re being Clipped by Love.

MY REVIEW

Clipped by Love by Toni Aleo is probably one of my favorite books by one of my favorite authors. It has it all- sex, great banter, sports, and a healthy dose of feminism mixed into one. We first meet the Sinclair boys in Boarded by Love, which I would highly recommend if you haven’t read to read it, although both can be read as a standalone. Clipped by Love features Jayden, the middle brother, and Bailey, a female hockey extraordinaire who is hell bent on making herself the first female player in the NHL.

Jayden was a true leader, and I loved the way he was super protective of those he loved. Bailey shows a strength and fortitude that is second to none, although her single minded focus to become the best hockey player ever can prevent her from getting close to some people. Bailey and Jayden are able to work together in order to chase their dreams together, and I absolutely loved the ending! You see some of the same great characters from before, and I cannot wait to read what is in store for Jace!

WITHOUT ME BY CHELLE BLISS BLOG TOUR AND REVIEW!!

THE LAST MEN OF INKED BOOK IS NOW AVAILABLE!
Synopsis:
I’d led a selfish existence.
I liked who I was. Hell, I loved myself. Women threw themselves at me and I took what they offered without remorse. I promised them nothing. I sank my teeth into life, holding on to the bitch like my very existence depended on it. Time passed. Women came and went. The second I let my guard down and released the hold I had on life… What was my award for such carelessness? A love so spectacular and heart wrenching that it threw me for a loop. When I was in too deep to escape, my greatest fears became reality. This is my story. My downfall. My salvation.

MY REVIEW

Without Me was the perfect ending for Chelle Bliss’ Men of Inked series, which brings an end to our time with the Gallos. Anthony, the elusive older brother who owns the fact that his heart is far from gold is hiding a secret relationship from his family. Max is just as arrogant as Anthony, and seems to be the perfect match to give the guy who swore off relationships the run around.

I felt bad for Anthony, who only wanted to love and be loved. He was Max’s biggest cheerleader even when she didn’t deserve it. And there were a lot of times she didn’t deserve it, almost to the point of irritating to be completely honest. While her fear was legitimate, the way she pushed Anthony away when he could have been helping her made it hard to love her. She redeems herself in the second half, and I did grow to like her. It was great seeing the rest of the Gallos, the epilogue was priceless, and kudos to Mrs. Bliss for bringing awareness to a little known illness. Great job and I can’t wait to see what Mrs. Bliss brings next!

UNTIL JULY BY AURORA ROSE REYNOLDS BLOG TOUR AND REVIEW!!

Meet Wes & July in Until July!
Until July is book one in the spin-off series: Until Her!
Barnes & Noble: http://bit.ly/1CFrgmZ

until july cover.jpg
Blurb
This is a standalone and a spin off of the New York Times best selling Until Series.

Wes Silver wasn’t looking for love, but when July Mayson literally knocks him on his ass during their first encounter, his world is turned upside down by the quirky blonde, and every moment with her makes him more determined to protect her.

July Mayson doesn’t understand the pull she feels toward the bad boy biker Wes Silver, but she knows being with him is like nothing she’s ever felt before. Now all she has to do is tell her overprotective father, Asher Mayson, that she’s found her boom.

MY REVIEW

Aurora Rose Reynolds is one of my automatic one-click authors, and Until July is no exception. We get to meet the second generation of Maysons, the kids, leading off with a strong female lead in Asher’s daughter, July. She is the perfect complement for Wes, who she met under dubious circumstances. Wes is as alpha as the rest of the Mayson men, and I love the way he protects his woman even when she feels like she doesn’t need it.

There were a lot of great things about this book- it was wonderful to see old characters, fall in love with some new ones, with a story that was both interesting and exciting. July was a girl with a heart of gold who is knee deep in her own mystery surrounding her veterinary business, while Wes is hell-bent on making sure she stays safe while helping her family get to the bottom of the mystery. There is one issue, which is what makes it a 4 star as opposed to a 5 star, and that was the character ages. In the original series the ages of the children were very specific, but in this book the timing was off, making some of the children older than they should have been by several years. The details are important, and you have children who should still be at home in high school in the middle of their careers, which was a bit irritating. Having said that- it was a great book, and I cannot wait to read the rest of this amazing series!

Excerpt:  Until July

I sit up when I see a few bikes in the distance. I don’t recognize their patches, but that doesn’t surprise me. Tennessee has a huge MC community, and there are always new clubs popping up all over the state. I slow down as I close the distance between us.
The closer I get, the more details I can make out. The group of about five bikes in front of me are all Harleys, all ranging in colors from almost purple to black. None of the men are wearing helmets, which is the complete opposite of me, who is covered from head to toe in black leather. Even my helmet is all black, with leather piping.
I take the men in, noticing they are all well-built, their leather cuts displaying a large eagle, with its wings spread wide like it’s midflight. The talons of the bird are carrying a long stem rose, with petals falling off it onto their club name, The Broken Eagles. I begin to speed up and pass them one by one, thankful for the security of my helmet, the black visor making it impossible to see me.
I keep my head straight until the last guy, the one who is at the front of the group, catches my attention. From the back, his hair is the first thing I notice. It’s slightly long on top and buzzed on the sides. My eyes move to the expanse of his back, the wide set of his shoulders, and the tan skin covering his lean muscles. His bike is low to the ground, and the bars are in front of him in a way that he has to stretch his arms straight out, causing every muscle to flex and move, making it look like the tattoos are alive and dancing.
My eyes skim farther down over his chest, which is covered in a white tank top tucked into a pair of light jeans, and around his waist is a black belt with a large silver buckle. I continue to pass him, my eyes shifting from the road to him and back again. This time when I look over, his head is turned towards me, and if I didn’t know any better, I would have swear he is looking directly into my soul.
“Holy shit,” I whisper, taking in his hair, the set of his jaw that is covered in days of stubble, and a pair of light eyes I can’t quite make out through the tint of my helmet. He is seriously hot, but equally scary-looking. I look from him back to the road. It must not have been even a second, but when my eyes go to the asphalt in front of me, I see a bird that is trying to make its way across the road, its wing hanging in an awkward position. I swerve to the right just in time to miss the poor animal.
“What the fuck?” I hear roared, and I look over my shoulder at the man who is now coming up quick on my right side. I yell an apology over the sound of my engine and his pipes. Do a quick wave and take off, lowering my body and pulling back the throttle, wanting to get away from them. Dude looks seriously pissed off, and even though I hate leaving the bird behind without helping it, I would like to live to see my next birthday.
I think I’m in the clear, but then the sound of pipes fills my ears, and I don’t even know how it happens, but they all catch up with me, surrounding my bike. I can’t make out what they’re saying, but my stomach starts to roll at the sound of their voices. I feel my side to make sure I have the Taser my dad insisted I carry.
I see a clearing and pull my bike off to the side of the road. I know this is probably one of the stupidest things I have ever done, but if they keep chasing me like they have been, we could all end up seriously hurt. I pull over and don’t even shut down my bike. I just lower my kickstand as my heart, which was already beating hard, begins to bang violently against my ribcage as they surround me.
“What the fuck is wrong with you?” the guy who was at the head of the group asks, stepping in front of my bike.
I shake my head as my words get lodged in my throat.
He pulls me off my bike, and the men who are with him begin yelling obscenities as well.
“Sorry,” I croak out, and I don’t even know if he hears me as his hand goes to the collar of my leather jacket, where he shakes me hard. My hand accidently presses down on the button that ignites the Taser. The loud crack fills the air, and his eyes go wide then he falls to the ground, and I fall on my ass and crabwalk backwards. I look up when I hit something, only to meet the eyes of another man, who looks pissed.
“Get up,” he growls, picking me up. My feet flail under me as I’m lifted off the ground with my hands restrained behind my back.
“Hold him still,” the guy who I had tasered growls in front of me as I try to get away from the anger I feel coming off him. His hands go to my head and he rips my helmet off, causing my hair to float down around me.
Complete silence descends. I swear no one even takes a breath. until july teaser 1.jpg

INTERCEPTED BY EMMA HART BLOG TOUR AND REVIEW!

BLOG TOUR

Four people. Four goals. Four endings.

In the third and final book of the USA Today bestselling By His Game series, the rules of the game no one knew they’d have to play are blurring, and when the past becomes the opposing team, hearts aren’t the only thing at stake of being lost…

Finding naked pictures of her best friend on her boyfriend’s phone wasn’t in Everleigh White’s five year plan. Neither was moving back to Los Angeles, the city of dreams that never managed to make hers come true. There’s only so many years you can be in love with your best friend before you realize he’s never going to love you back, after all. If only her ex would stop showing up at the gym where she works, she’d be much happier.
Being a father at nineteen wasn’t how Reid North, the Vipers’ wide receiver, imagined his life going, but when his ex-girlfriend tricked him into parenthood, he accepted it. Eventually. Now, with his ex on the verge of being released from prison, he’s holding onto full custody of his seven year old son, Leo. Football and Leo have left Reid no time for dating… Until Everleigh comes back.
His best friend his whole life, Everleigh never knew Reid loved her. She left before he could tell her. Now she’s back in front of him, and he’s not letting go. Even if all he gets is her friendship again. But in a city like L.A., dreams come true when you’re least expecting it.

So do nightmares.
With their exes beating down their doors with demands and explanations, their hesitant and building relationship is threatened at every corner. They’re at serious risk of being intercepted by the past, and that’s a ball Reid is determined to catch.

Except desperation can lead to stupidity—and Reid soon realizes he can’t catch every ball, no matter how perfectly it’s thrown to him. This time a fumble could cost more than a few points.
It could cost him everything.

(INTERCEPTED is the third and final book in the By His Game series and can be read as a standalone, although it is advised to read BLINDSIDED and SIDELINED before, in this order.)

ADD TO GOODREADS

MY REVIEW

Intercepted was an amazing end to the By His Game Series by Emma Hart. This is the story of Everleigh and Reid, best friends who lost contact and have recently been reacquainted. Reid is a single father to an adorable little boy, whom I adored, while Ever is home to restart after she finds out her longtime boyfriend was cheating

This was probably my favorite book of the series by far! Not only was the main couple hot, but the inclusion of the secondary characters really added to the depth of the story. Reid is such a great guy you can’t help but love him, and Ever was like your favorite girlfriend who was nothing but supportive to both Leo and Reid when they needed it most. Loved it- the whole series was a winner for me, and if you haven't read Emma Hart before you need to get on the ball!

EXCERPT

I follow him down the sidewalk, feeling a little antsy. I mean, he looks like Reid. Okay, an older Reid, but still Reid. He sounds like Reid, he acts like Reid, but he… feels like someone else. He doesn’t feel like the guy who dragged me out from behind curtains at parties and forced me to the dance, or the guy who begged me to go to his high school and college football games because he insisted he always caught better when I was there.
He feels… rawer. Realer. Rougher.
And I’m terrified.
He was always the one person I struggled to say no to. It was his eyes, and his smile, and the fact that I was crazy fucking in love with him. I’m afraid that now, although four years have passed, that I won’t be able to say no, either
That much is obvious by the fact I’m standing outside a sandwich shop I’ve never seen in my life.
“Trust me,” Reid says, smiling as he pushes the door open.
I stare at him flatly. Still, I follow him in like a little puppy because I’m always game for a good sandwich.
“Two meatball subs,” Reid orders. “Both toasted with cheese, but one with extra cheese. No salad or sauces on either.” Order done, he looks back at me and winks.
God. He even remembers the sandwich.
“This isn’t good for my diet,” I mutter, following him along the counter to the register.
“Or mine.” He smirks, glancing at me and running his eyes over my body. “And for what it’s worth, you could probably have another cheat day without it making a difference.”
I hit his arm again. “Shut up. You can’t perve on me. It’s wrong.”
“That’s what you think.” He hands over twenty bucks and raise his eyebrow at me. Then, leaning in, he whispers, “My cock thinks different, Ever.”
I swallow. Well, shit. How am I supposed to respond to that?
I’m not. That’s right. I’m not.
I take my warm sandwich from the counter and grip it tightly, heading toward a table in the corner. I slide into the seat against the wall and unwrap my sandwich at a snail’s pace. Each crinkle of the paper surrounding it seems ten times louder than normal as I studiously ignore Reid’s bulky, muscular form sitting opposite me.
Dammit. I shouldn’t be attracted to him. I shouldn’t consider being attracted to him.
Sure, I was before. In the ‘you’re handsome, be my Prince Charming’ kinda way. Now, though? Now it’s a, ‘holy crap, rip off my clothes and ravish me on your backseat!’ kinda attracted.
I’m not saying either way is bad. I’m just saying that I would prefer for the first type of attracted.
Maybe.
I bite into the sandwich so I don’t have to talk to him. But, apparently, he doesn’t get the message.
“I didn’t know you worked at the gym.”
I swallow. “You say it like it’s the only gym in Los Angeles.”
“It’s just... the gym.” He smirks. He studies me for a second before the curve turns downward. “Why’d you leave, Ev?”
“You knew I was going.”
“Sure I did. I just didn’t know you were going Casper on my ass and fucking off without a word.”
My eyes fall and I focus on my sandwich. Carelessly, I pick at the top of the bread. “I had my reasons, okay? It was easier for me if the media didn’t follow me so intently. You know they thought I was going to star on Broadway instead of college.”
“God, you’re a damn shit liar, Everleigh White.”
“It’s the truth, Reid, okay? They were all up in Dad’s business because of the Hartman movie, and when those Broadway rumors started it was bullshit. I ran without anyone knowing so they wouldn’t follow me. It lasted a week, but I didn’t have them timing my pees on the plane so there we go.” I glance up. “Believe me, okay? I’m not lying.” Not entirely, anyway.
“Whenever you’ve told me you’re not lying, you’ve been lying.” The force of his gaze makes me look up. “I still fucking know you, Ever. You haven’t changed a single damn bit.”
“And you still can’t control your f-bomb,” I shoot back.
“Says the girl who drops it like she drops the word ‘hi’ at a high school reunion.”
“Kiss my ass.”
“You offerin’, firecracker?”
“You taking me up on it?”
“I could flip you over this table in a second and you know it.”
I narrow my eyes and grab my half-eaten sandwich. Standing, I reach toward the trashcan and slam the screwed-up package into it, leaving the lid to slam down as I turn on my heel and head for the door.
Reid says nothing. But he follows me. I hear his footsteps against the tiled floor of the sandwich place, and he grabs the door the second I let it go, stopping it from slamming.
My feet pound against the sidewalk. Jesus, I don’t remember him being this so fucking infuriating before. Was he this demanding? Or frustrating? Or goddamned annoying?
Hell to it all. Was he this fucking sexy?
No, siree. No, he was not.

And that’s the frickin’ problem.

From Emma Hart, the New York Times bestselling author of the Game series, comes a brand new series where the game is realer, the tension is tighter, the sex is hotter, and the stakes are the highest of all…

Two people. Two agendas. Two games.
What happens when the out-there It-Boy of football meets the secret It-Girl of fashion?
As the daughter of Hollywood’s sweetheart, Leah Veronica can’t even buy a coffee without finding her face on a magazine stand, so it’s no wonder she’s launching her first fashion line in secret. With it debuting at New York Fashion Week in just under a month, extra time in the spotlight is the last thing she needs.
The son of the best quarterback the league has ever seen, filling legendary shoes as the L.A. Vipers’ quarterback was inevitable for Corey Jackson. So was meeting Leah Veronica—the first girl to hand him his ass without putting a hair out of place.
Getting the handsome, prickly blonde into his bed becomes his number one goal. But getting the sexy, over-confident footballer the hell away from her becomes Leah’s—at least until she realizes the best way to do that is to give him what he wants.
If only it was that simple.
When Corey discovers who she is, and private photos of Hollywood’s finest find their way online, everything they thought they knew is thrown into disarray.
And when secrets are exposed and hearts are shattered, they have to figure out if they’ve been blindsided by love or reality, and if it’s worth running the extra yard to win the game they never meant to play.

Three people. Three motives. Three reasons.
When the game leaves the field in the second book in the USA Today bestselling BY HIS GAME series and mixes with sex, lies, and betrayal, the future isn't the only thing on the line...

Macey Kelly has sworn off men. Unless they’re going to zip in and out of her apartment—and her vagina—quicker than they can give her an orgasm, she’s not interested. Finding out her boyfriend of three years got her cousin pregnant was a total confidence knock. Luckily for Macey, confidence is
something she has in abundance, so all Mitch’s asshole move did was make her pretty cynical toward men.

The last thing Jack Carr needs at the start of the season is for a dark-haired, sexy as sin, gyspyesque beauty to be consuming his thoughts. Football is his life, which leaves no time for girls. Unless they’re the love ‘em and leave ‘em girls. Becoming one of the best running backs the league has ever seen by racking up the yards is his top priority… not bedding Macey Kelly, despite her affinity for blow jobs and total sexual abandon.
Avoiding each other is the perfect solution, but when your best friends are in a serious living together kind of relationship, that isn’t always an option. Sometimes, sex on tap is the easiest option. And the sweetest.

Until Mitch shows up with a bombshell that could shatter Macey’s perfectly carved out life. It’s been a year, but he isn’t giving her up, not now he has a chance at winning her back. And he knows her buttons. Every single one of them.
Unfortunately for him, Jack Carr isn’t a loser. The star running back has his eye on the Vince Lombardi—and on Macey. But seeing her hanging between them both isn’t something he’s down with, not when he discovers why she’s so against anything more-ish, as she puts it.Macey quickly realizes she’s the ball being passed between two desperate yet opposing teams, and that only one of them can score the touchdown. But will the winner be the guy she lived with and loved for three years, or will the winner be the guy who understands her and makes her body come alive?
In this game, someone will be sidelined, and calling the play isn’t always as easy as it seems.

(SIDELINED is a full-length, standalone novel. It's not necessary to read BLINDSIDED before this book, but it is advised.)
